The first is Bond on Set: Filming Skyfall by Greg Williams. This will be the fourth "Bond on Set" book from Willams, which feature behind the scenes photographs from the making of the Bond films.
Amazon is also listing LIFE 50 Years of James Bond: On the Run with 007, from Dr. No to Skyfall. No details on this release.
Of course, what I'm waiting for is any news of a Skyfall novelization. That's the tie-in I really want.
I just got the Kindle version of Luke Quantrill's James Bond 50 years from Dr. No to Skyfall. My quick review? Save you money! It reads like a half finished 5th grader’s book report. The book is what I expected, a poor man’s James Bond Bedside Companion (by Raymond Benson). It really offered no insight or new information whatsoever. And coverage on Skyfall? His “indepth” chapter on that deftly explains in gripping detail how some fans liked the name, while others did not. He must have copied that right from a Bond forum. Oh, and at the height of hypocrisy, he has Daniel Craig on the cover, while bashing him incessantly inside the book.
