The Folio Society releases FOR YOUR EYES ONLY

The Folio Society has released their next illustrated slip-cased Ian Fleming classic, For Your Eyes Only.

Readers might be familiar with the titles of the stories contained within For Your Eyes Only, but the adventures they depict might surprise them. As well as the expected – and eagerly anticipated – danger, thrills and action that Bond is so well known for, these five stories peel back the layers of Fleming’s complex hero, revealing, as crime writer Ian Rankin describes it, ‘a James Bond few of us have had the good fortune to meet’. Series artist Fay Dalton returns to provide her own irresistible spin on MI6’s greatest, with seven full-colour illustrations and an especially dramatic slipcase. New 'Quantum of Solace' cover art by Michael Gillette

Artist Michael Gillette, who designed the covers for the 2008 Centenary editions of all 14 Ian Fleming James Bond novels, has now created a new cover for the short story collection, Quantum of Solace. This cover was made for the portuguese publisher Contraponto.

'Quantum of Solace' short story collection

To tie-in with the release of the new James Bond film, all Ian Fleming's short stories are being published in one volume for the first time. The new collection, titled Quantum of Solace, includes: From a View to a Kill, For Your Eyes Only, Quantum of Solace, Risico, The Hildebrand Rarity, Octopussy & The Living Daylights, The Property of a Lady, and 007 in New York.

Quantum of Solace is published in the U.S. as a trade paperback with cover art by Richie Fahey (left). In the UK, Quantum of Solace is published as a mass market paperback and in a nice collectible hardcover edition.
