Roger's LICENSE

Here's a 1982 Norwegian trade paperback edition of John Gardner's first James Bond continuation novel, License Renewed. I love this cover art with a circa 1981 Roger Moore Bond and a very artfully done montage of images from the novel. One of my favorite Gardner covers.

Visit The Book Bond's special Gardner Renewed page for links to all the John Gardner James Bond reprints in the U.S. and UK.

  1. This is a great cover! Not as great as the double cover with the bullet holes in the wing mirror, but still great. Do you actually own all these versions? How many Bond novels editions do you own?

    1. Yep, everything I post here is from my own collection. Don't know how many I have total. A few. :)

  2. That is a cool cover.

I'm near sure I've seen same picture somewhere before but with a generic Bond rather than Moore (perhaps another European cover?)
