LINK: The Curious Case Of Colonel Sun: Kingsley Amis's Missing Bond Novel

Aug Stone revisits the only James Bond novel to remain out of physical print, discussing its place within the mythology of 007 and Amis's sizeable contribution to the franchise. Click headline to read at The Quietus.

  1. It's a good read and the M in jeopardy plot is now very topical!

  2. Yeah, it's not a bad book at all. Amis does a passable Fleming impersonation, especially in the early sections. I don't think the main plot, or the villain, are particularly interesting, though; not bad, just nothing special.

It definitely deserves to be in print!
