Peek inside the world of JAMES BOND 007

Here's a preview image of Waterstones Piccadilly's special "interactive pop-up experience" that will be part of the UK launch of Anthony Horowitz's Trigger Mortis. This makes a great computer desktop background.

The James Bond pop-up experience, "Trigger Mortis: Unlocking Bond", runs Monday, September 7 to Sunday September 13, 2015 at Waterstones Piccadilly in London. CLICK HERE for more details.

  1. Cigar in the ashtray? A fedora? I think not.

    1. And then there's the Olympia SM typewriter with the European key layout.
      I think they were aiming for a Cold War mood with this photo, rather than it being Bond-related. And, this is just my suspicion, but a single cigar is always cheaper to purchase than a packet of cigarettes, even though a cigarette would seem more fitting in a photo like this one.
      But at least they got the lighting nice and atmospheric.

  2. Know that this image was created for publicity purposes and might not reflect exactly what you'll see in the exhibition itself.

  3. Perhaps Moreland specials with the 3 gold bands would be more appropriate?

  4. This meant to be a Ray Chandler homage of the 1940s???? Didn't we have natural daylight in late 50s Britain????

    A very poor effort. Cheap, even though it probably wasn't.
