As you can see by this photo of my kitchen cupboard, I have too many dang James Bond books!

Therefore, I've started to thin out my collection on eBay. I've already sold many of my foreign editions and I'm now starting to list English language books as well as games and action figures.

RED NEMESIS hardcover jacket art revealed

Today I'm excited to reveal cover art for the limited signed hardcover edition of Steve Cole's next Young Bond novel, Red Nemesis. The book will be released in the UK on May 4. The hardcover will contain extra content not available in the paperback edition. Tomorrow I will reveal cover art for the hardcover edition of Steve Cole's next Young Bond adventure Red Nemesis. The book is due for release in the UK on May 4.

JAMES BOND JR. Marvel Comics

From January through December 1992 Marvel released a monthly James Bond Jr. comic book based on the animated TV series running at this same time. The comics featured the adventures of 007's nephew James Bond (why would he be a "Jr"?), Gordo Leiter ("Radical dude!") Horace Boothroyd (aka I.Q.) and Tracy Milbanks (Tracy - get it?). The group battled Jaws and other agents of S.C.U.M. (Saboteurs and Criminals United in Mayhem). The comics were well done with some fun covers, as you can see below (click to enlarge).

FOR SALE: Limited O.H.M.S.S. signed by Ian Fleming

The legendary Richard Schenkman, who for years ran the James Bond (American) Fan Club and published Bondage magazine, is offering for sale his copy of the limited signed On Her Majesty's Secret Service. This was Ian Fleming's only signed limited edition; it was published simultaneously with the first trade edition on April 1, 1963.

This is one of the most sought after and valuable of all the James Bond Fleming firsts. According to Richard, his copy is "in very fine condition, including the original plastic jacket, and it's numbered 124."

German publisher Cross Cult continues to release the John Gardner James Bond novels with cover art by Michael Gillette that match his 2008 Centenary editions. Next up is Gardner's 1991 novel The Man From Barbarossa, due for release in October 2017.

James Bond BLACK BOX starts today

Dynamite's next James Bond 007 story arc Black Box starts today with issue #1. The story is by Benjamin Percy with artwork by Rapha Lobosco. The issue comes in four variant covers. The image here is Cover D by Goni Montes.

The next epic adventure for 007 kicks off in the snowbound French Alps, where Bond finds himself in the crosshairs of an assassin who targets other assassins. This is the first puzzle piece in a larger adrenaline-fueled mystery that will send Bond across the globe to investigate a digital breach that threatens global security.
