Vintage to release THE SPECTRE TRILOGY in October
In what looks to be a gentle tie-in with the new James Bond film, SPECTRE, Vintage books will release The SPECTRE Trilogy on October 1st. The book collects the Ian Fleming novels, Thunderball, On Her Majesty's Secret Service and You Only Live Twice.
These three novels had previously been collected and published under the title The Blofeld Trilogy in 2009.

I wonder if the British edition of this one will turn out to be as pricey as the previous version. By the way, what made the previous edition so valuable?
ReplyDeleteCool! I'm glad they're doing a tie-in along the lines of Penguin's Quantum of Solace tie-ins. I hope we see as many different editions of this "SPECTRE Trilogy" (instead of Blofeld trilogy) as we did of QOS. That UK hardcover QOS is my favorite hardcover Bond book design of the last decade.I'd really love to see an actual movie tie-in edition with a Daniel Craig cover, but it seems unlike that will happen. There hasn't been one since CR.
