Here's the back of the SOLO U.S. edition
Amazon.com has a new feature on some of their listings where you can "flip" the cover image around and read the back of the book. Happily, that feature is active on the listing for the U.S. edition of Solo, the new James Bond novel by William Boyd. So here you go! The back:
Solo will be released by HarperCollins in the U.S. on October 8, 2013 (Amazon.com), and by Jonathan Cape in the UK on September 26, 2013 (Amazon.co.uk).

Wow. The back sucks just as bad as the front. I'm going to order the UK edition.
ReplyDeleteSo are there really no limited editions this time around, John? After the last two, I was expecting them! Unfortunately Hatchards doesn't seem to have a proper website anymore, and I'm not sure where else to check other than here. I want to be prepared in advance if there are so I don't miss out! And have you heard anything about proof copies? I guess with the tight security on the new Bond titles, they've become a thing of the past?
ReplyDeleteNo proofs, but there is some kind of special edition that's going to cost £200, but I'm having trouble getting info on it. I'll keep trying.
DeleteThanks, John! I'll keep checking back for more info on that if and when you find it. It's a shame that they don't do proofs anymore. I always enjoyed collecting those.
