Will there be a simultaneous release for sale to the US market of these titles?
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a fantastic line-up (especially Bill Nighy on Moonraker and Rosamund Pike on TSWLM!), but I'm guessing it won't be available to Americans. About half or more of AudioGo's things aren't, which is really, really frustrating. And I imagine the US audio rights are probably with Amazon now. It will be interesting to see if they end up licensing these readings or commissioning their own.
ReplyDeleteVery exciting news! They've really landed some proper talent to read them too.
ReplyDeleteThis is great news, especially as they are unabridged. But where are For your Eyes Only and Octopussy?
ReplyDeleteCan't stand David Tennant. At least, he's reading the one that became the worst film!
ReplyDeleteI hear he doesn't like you either. Something about lack of taste. :)
DeleteIn this Internet age, I'm dismayed that these audiobooks aren't being offered in the USA. I'll pay the shipping, for goodness' sake, just give me the chance to order!! I am bitterly disappointed that I can't get copies of these. I'm sure they will be terrific.
ReplyDeleteTry Amazon UK...I have an order on one of the titles through them shipping to the US. Granted, shipping is obscene, but that is another matter.
