COVER ART FOR NEW GARDNER UK PAPERBACKS REVEALED

Cover art for the first three new UK paperback editions of John Gardner's James Bond novels have been revealed on the Orion website. I think these are sensational and this is going to be one gorgeous set when complete!

These first three books, Licence Renewed, For Special Services, and Icebreaker will be released on February 2, 2012. Check out our special Gardner Renewed page for pre-order links and the latest release date information on all the Gardner-Bond reprints in the U.S. and UK.

  1. Definitely classier than the American art! And more appropriate for the books. Not that I dislike the American art, but these are classier.

  6. Thanks to Simon and John for all the great info and updates. Do you have any idea of the sales figures for the re-issued Hardbacks of the John Gardner books? I bought all 5 here in the UK so I have done my bit(and the originals when they came out)

    Cheers.

  7. If I get any idea of sales figures guys I will let you know. In the meantime I have been informed via Ian Fleming Publications that Pegasus Books USA will be using the same artwork as the ORION UK Paperbacks.
Also we hope to run a competition soon to win the first 5 hardbacks. Watch Facebook & TWitter & www.john-gardner.com for detais. COMING SOON

  8. Very nice covers, all with the same small mistake though. :-) The 'eject hatch' for the empty shells (no idea what it's really called in English) of the Walther PPK should be on the non-visible (right) side of the gun (since they are ejected to the right side). On the book covers it's on the left side.
