The paperback edition uses the same ugly dust jacket design from the Simon & Schuster hard cover as its cover. Not surprising considering Pocket Star is an imprint of Simon & Schuster. I wish Simon & Schuster had used the dust jacket from the Hodder & Stoughton hard cover as the basis for the cover of the paper back edition here in the United States.

Why do James Bond novel dust jackets and book covers have to be so ugly here in the United States? The only exception being the Richie Fahey covers published by Penguin in 2004.

Got this paperback today. It's a really weird size. It's not a trade, but it's about a half inch taller than a normal mass market paperback. Odd.

I am also hoping for a SKYFALL novelization in late October as we approach the film's Nov. 9 U.S. release date

As its the 50th anniversary of the films, I'm sure there are a few coffee table type books due out. A novelization for those of us who want to read the story before we see the film would be a natural fit.
